Holidays

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Making you smile this Holiday Season:-)photo © 2009 Kasia | more info (via: Wylio)
We are getting excited for the holidays! Soon, we will take break from school to celebrate some winter holidays. Students at East celebrate some different holidays, and we'd love to share some information about what our families do to celebrate! Please take some time to comment on this post and write about how your family celebrates during te break from school. Explain about what you do, what you eat, and any other special or interesting facts that you think others might be interested in.

Push your thinking and consider your audience - they may not know very much about the holidays your family celebrates!

The holiday I cealabright is Christmas. Christmas is about when Jesus was born. My family gets a Christmas tree and colorful Christmas lights. Then we put the tree up. Next we put the Christmas lights on the tree. Then we put on a Christmas movie and sit by the tree. Some times we bake cookies. Christmas in not about getting preasents it is about when Jesus was born!

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Over the winter break I go to my grandmother's house (that is our tradition). When we over there almost everyone in our family that lives in Colorado comes. Also our family in Minnesota comes. We eat ham, mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli covered in Velveeta cheese, and yams. Every time we go over that is what we eat every time. But sometimes people will bring over surprise dishes. We also play games. And almost every time we will spend the night in Parker, Colorado with my uncle, aunt, and there kids.
Thanks,
Brittany
