We are students at East Elementary School in Littleton, Colorado, USA. For most of us, our favorite sport is soccer. We began our school year with a trip to Cal-Wood. Cal-Wood is a science camp in the mountains of Colorado. We just got a new playground with a huge slide. It was paid for with a grant. Most of us are about 10 years old. We have students who speak English, Spanish, Hmong, Korean, Croatian, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic. In our classrooms, we have lots of great technology.
We can't wait to hear more about you. We'd really like to know more about each of you. We'd love to know more about what you like to do, what you are learning, and if you have more questions for us!

In both languages we are working sexual and asexual reproduction. We are preparing in teams an exposition for our parents en October 21st.
In History we are studing "The Cold War", and we think that it is very intersting.
In our school all people speak in spanish but we are learning english.
We stay at school 7 hours and a half. Half of the day in sapnish and the other half in Ensglish.
The school Peregrina Balboa is the unique in Rocha taht has English as an inmersion program.
Last Saturday some students of 5th and 6th grade participated in a soccer championship and they won!! We are very happy.

Hello my name is Alexa and I am a fifth grader. I go to a school called East Elementary. We speak English all day at school and use our little net books(mini lap tops). There is lots of us there are 56 students in fifth grade. I like to ride bikes and go to the park with my friends. Our school is a great school because they help us out,we get to use mini lap tops, and we are about to get ipods. Of course we have never been on t.v. like you. My name is Cheyenne. I am in 5th grade. I was born in Colorado and my grandma is teaching me how to speak Spanish. We go to school for six hours. I have never traveled anywhere expect parts of the United States. Their are 56 students in 5th grade. I am apart of Student Leadership. Student Leadership is where you help around the school. I live with brother, a sister, my mom, and dad all live together. I like to play sports with everybody. Tomorrow will be four day weekend. I can't wait to stay up all night. My name is Jay, and I go to East Elementary School. We stay at school for six hours and forty three minutes. I love soccer. It is my favorite sport. I am South Korean, and the South Korean soccer team got to the round of sixteen, until Uruguay, your team, beat us, two to one. I am on a soccer team in Colorado United called the Bears. I have been to many places. I really like traveling. In the 2010 World Cup, I woke up at 5:30 to watch South Korea play Argentina. I love math, and it is my favorite subject in school. I like school. Even though it is hard to wake up a seven in the morning sometimes, because I love to sleep, but it is very fun to go to school. I love Korean food and snacks, and a lot of my friends like them too. Some foods I like are bulgogi, kimchi, and more. I have two siblings. One is an older brother, and the other is another is an older sister. I am the youngest. I love being the youngest. I think that it is really cool that we get to talk to kids from other countries. We have really cool technology at school. We have Smartboards, and they are like white boards, and it is connected to a computer, and when you press on something, it comes up. We also have computers.
